Sparks Acquire Marissa Coleman

The Sparks have acquired guard/forward Marissa Coleman from the Washington Mystics in exchange for guard Noelle Quinn. The trade brings Coleman - the No. 2 overall pick in the 2009 WNBA Draft - to LA and reunites her with former Maryland teammate Kristi Toliver. In 2011, she ranked 11th in the league with 51 three-pointers made.

Season Begins May 18

The Sparks will tip-off the 2012 WNBA regular season with back-to-back games against Western Conference rival Seattle, playing at the Storm on May 18 followed by their home opener Sunday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m. at STAPLES Center. The Sparks 16th season will feature a 17-game home schedule including eight weekend dates. LEARN MORE

Sparks Abroad Update

Keeping the Dream Alive

For the third straight year, the Sparks partnered with the LA Dept of. Recreation and Parks for the International Dream Games, recognizing the legacy of Dr. King by bringing together kids from diverse backgrounds for an exciting weekend of basketball. This year also featured an exciting announcement from Lisa Leslie.

Ross Named Sparks Head Coach

The Los Angeles Sparks have named Carol Ross as the team's new head coach, bringing over 25 years of coaching experience including the past three seasons as an assistant with the Atlanta Dream. Previously, Ross was a head coach at Ole Miss and Florida, guiding her teams to 12 NCAA Tournaments. Learn more II Hear from Coach Ross

Ole Skool Crew Auditions
